Your First Year
As a first-year, you’ll have an advisor (faculty, staff member, or graduate student), a peer advising fellow (an upper-level student specially trained to provide assistance), and access to residence-based advising in your residence community.

With Harvard’s 7:1 student-to-faculty ratio, you will also be able to easily connect with professors in class or during drop-in hours. You can also take advantage of the Academic Resource Center, which offers tutoring, academic workshops, and advising.
